About Webinar
Welcome to the second edition of the Solar-to-X Webinar Series, a collaborative bi-monthly initiative organized by the pioneering projects of the European Innovation Council (EIC) Pathfinder Solar-to-X portfolio. This unified portfolio is dedicated to developing revolutionary standalone devices that bypass traditional electricity grids to convert sunlight and abundant molecules—like water and carbon oxides—directly into green fuels, chemicals, and materials right where they are needed.
In this second installment, hosted by the SUNPEROM project consortium, we shift the spotlight toward the cutting-edge fusion of material science and systems engineering. Entitled "The Future of Solar-to-X: Mimicking Nature with Perovskites and Integrated Photoelectrochemical Systems," this session features an exclusive keynote by Prof. Michael Graetzel, a world-renowned scientist and pioneer in molecular photovoltaics. Together, we will explore the evolution of high-efficiency perovskites, advanced artificial photosynthesis, and the integrated photoelectrochemical flow systems driving us toward a decentralized, net-zero future.
